5 top tips to a perfect base
Applying a good makeup base is surprisingly tricky. Get it right and you will achieve a luminous and polished complexion, but get it wrong and you can be left with caked skin, visible foundation lines, flakiness or uneven coverage. I had a chat with Rimmel London makeup artist Kirsten Piggott, who revealed her tips to achieving a flawless complexion.
Start at the top
Apply foundation on your forehead first and blend downwards. This will ensure that the spread of makeup is even and will prevent over-applying foundation on areas that don’t need it.
